julian’s diverse style & flair for storytelling has built a wide following through commercials, short films, music videos and long form projects. collaborating with leading directorial talent including michael downing, ben whitehouse, daniel kleinman, ben sedley, tom speers, pedro romhanyi, rosey, paul king, kevin godley and john birkin.

he has a natural comedic flair, his skills being honed early in his career whilst working  on broadcast projects with victoria wood and caroline aherne, “victoria wood and all the trimmings” receiving a bafta nomination. in 2015 julian’s adot “lights” charity film picked up a bronze british arrow, a white d&ad pencil, an apa crystal, a silver and two bronze clio awards, as well as two gold lia awards and a cannes shortlist. more recently “what3words” was selected for the apa collection and he was honoured with a best editing nomination at the kinsale shark awards for his work on ben sedley’s nhs campaign “better left unsaid”.

as a 007 nerd and all round cinephile one of his proudest editing milestones to date was editing the james bond title sequence for “spectre”.

julian has a passion for confectionary and everything sweet, collects robots and remote controlled toys and is a dedicated father and family man.
